Mia Mia A Country Escape at Mount Mee is a bed and breakfast only an hour's drive north of Brisbane City and is the perfect place to have a relaxing getaway. Set between the charming towns of Dayboro & Woodford, Mia Mia makes a great base for a few days away. It's only 5 kms to D'Aguilar National Park, 5 minutes to Birches Restaurant, 10 minutes from Ocean View Winery and 20 minutes from Woodford or Dayboro.
The name Mia Mia is indigenous for shelter. Nearly 100 years ago, Mia Mia was also the name of a guest house which stood on the vacant lot next door. A photo of the guest house can be seen in the living area.
So Kick back and relax in your own stylish apartment with a choice of one or two Queen size bedrooms with spectacular views of the D'Aguilar Range. There's a kitchen if you want to dine in, the most amazing sunsets can be seen from the back yard and the outdoor patio near the entrance is a great place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sun's first rays of light shine over the hinterland. And of course, Netflix, Wi-Fi and a computer desk.
Guest accomodation is private and independent, with your own entrance and fenced yard. There's also ducted air-conditioning so it's never too hot or too cold; a cosy living area with a flat screen TV. So if you're feeling stressed and need to unwind, then Mia Mia let's you do as little or as much as you would like. Mia Mia is a working cattle farm so there is no access to the farm paddocks; however, there is access to the immediate area near the apartment and the back yard. Sorry no pets allowed.
